The North Florida Chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors has named Gary Stout its Volunteer of the Year for 2011.
Stout is president of drywall contracting firm Ingram Enterprises Inc. of Tallahassee. He is a past chairman of the chapter, past ABC of Florida chairman, and serves on the construction organization's state board of directors. He is also a trustee on the ABC National PAC Committee.
The chapter's recent awards banquet also recognized two retiring board members, Sutton Webb of Riley Palmer Construction and Jim Maples of A Materials Group.
The board members for 2012 are Brian Zettle of P.S.B.I., chairman; Sam Pickenpaugh of Florida Rock, vice chairman; Heath Annin of RAM Construction & Development, secretary-treasurer; Chuck Lester of Ajax Building Corp., past chairman; Bruce Kuhnel of Peaden LLC, chairman of the chapter's Western Region; Jim Folds, Culpepper Construction; Jason Gassett, Childers Construction; Bo Mixer, Benson's Heating & Air; Jay Kelly, Florida Fence & Outdoor Living; Ron Mason, James Moore & Co. CPAs; Scott Brewer, Allstate Construction; Finley Cook, Cook Brothers; Bill Strauss, Talquin Portable Restrooms; and Michael Roberts, Roberts Sand Co.
